Our Department is recognized as one of the best emergency medical services in the area and we take great pride in our reputation. We are committed to providing the people of Cumberland with exceptional, pre-hospital emergency medical care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. 

The strength of our service lies in our personnel’s commitment to excellence. Last year, our team of highly skilled providers responded to nearly 4,000 calls for help and transported more than 3,000 patients to area hospitals. 

Cumberland Rescue Service is committed to providing equitable, high-quality pre-hospital emergency medical care to all of Cumberland's residents and visitors. The Department also strives to keep Cumberland's families and neighborhoods safe by providing community education and programming. Cumberland Rescue Service offers the "Pink Card" program to our seniors, and teaches hundreds of individuals how to perform CPR annually. Cumberland Rescue Service will  work continously on programs that will benefit the community and our visitors.
